BharatVani Hindi Keyboard YOUR HINDI TYPING PRACTICE PAGE
Begin by typing your name or any sentence which comes to your mind and click on the 'Change to Hindi Now' button to replace the text in Hindi. Remember! BharatVani has placed most primary (unaspirated) consonants over their phonetically matching English keys. Their secondary (aspirated) forms have been placed on respective shift (capitalized) positions. Example: Hindi k (ka) has been placed over English k and its aspirated form K (kha) has been placed over capital K. You must not add "h" to type aspirated words (using kh to type K wil incorrectly produce kh). Keep a printed copy of keyboard layout handy. This is a HTML document. Word template does not work here. You must press Alt key and ASCII code number to type half letters and conjuncts. Keep a printed copy of ASCII code numbers for special characters handy. As with all word processing, practice is the keyword. You may practice here, copy this page to your hard drive to practice offline, or use your favorite word processor.
